ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last updated: 31 October 2025

At Sounds Like, we believe great experiences should be accessible to everyone.
We are committed to providing inclusive access to our website, events, and communications so that all individuals, including people with disabilities, can engage fully and independently.

1. Our Commitment

We are continuously improving accessibility across our digital platforms and event experiences in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
Our goal is to make every touchpoint with Sounds Like, whether online or in person, welcoming, usable, and enjoyable for all.

2. Website Accessibility

We aim to ensure that the Sounds Like website is accessible and easy to navigate. Key features include:

  • Clear structure, readable typography, and consistent navigation

  • High-contrast text and visual elements where possible

  • Descriptive alt text for key images and graphics

  • Keyboard-friendly navigation and forms

  • Responsive design optimised for desktop and mobile

We continue to test and refine our digital experience to improve usability for all users, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers or voice recognition tools.

3. Event Accessibility

We work with venues and production teams across Australia to support accessible entry and participation at Sounds Like events.
While accessibility may vary by venue, we aim to provide:

  • Step-free or ramp access where possible

  • Designated accessible viewing areas

  • Accessible bathroom facilities

  • Companion and carer ticketing support

  • Priority entry for guests with accessibility needs

If you have specific requirements, please contact us ahead of the event so we can coordinate the best possible experience.

4. Support and Assistance

If you experience any barriers online or at an event, please let us know.
We welcome feedback from all guests, including those using mobility aids, hearing devices, screen readers, or other accessibility tools.
Your feedback helps us continue to improve.

When reaching out, please include details of the issue you encountered and any assistive technology you use so we can respond effectively.

5. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing priority for Sounds Like.
As we grow, we will continue to review and upgrade our digital tools, event operations, and staff training to ensure that inclusion remains at the heart of everything we create.
